Q: How does SuperTasks handle the limit of maximum 32 concurrent processes ?
A: Many users complain about this limitation of the PocketPC operating system. Because of this limit you can only run a certain number of applications at once, and if you start another one, some of the already running applications is terminated by the operating system. SuperTasks has the "Run as a service" feature - it does not occupy a process of its own and runs in the common process of the system services.
(Applies to version 2.0 or higher)
Q: Is it possible to adjust the position of the CPU indicator ?
A: Yes, tap on it and drag it horizontaly to the desired position.
Q: Which applications are not terminated during "Quit all" ?
A: SuperTasks does not terminate the PocketPC shell, "ActiveSync" and "Phone".
Licencing & upgrades
Q: I have purchased version 1.2 of SuperTasks, are there any updates available ?
A: Yes, you will always find updates on www.softwareandson.com. You can download and install the latest 1.x version of SuperTasks for free.
Q: My PocketPC device has been replaced and the old registration key does not work with the new device. Can I get a new one ?
A: You need to purchase another licence for SuperTasks, since it is bond to the device ID. The very simple PocketPC device ID mechanism does not allow implementation of transferable keys.
Q: I have purchased English version of SuperTasks, now I see that there is also a German version available. Can I switch to the German version for free ?
A: Yes, download and install the German version (or other language) and use the same registration key.
Q: I haven't found the answer here !
